  Welcome

From the Conductor and Artistic Director – 2023 - 2024 Season

Dear friends and patrons,
I always take great pleasure when starting a new season with the Bach and Handel Chorale, as it brings many new and exciting things into their lives such as new music, new venues, new members that join our family and challenges to their mind and musicality.

Beginning in September of 2023, we will be embarking on our 39th year as a group that has dedicated its entire being toward promoting the works of Bach, Handel and other masters. Our members come from all walks of life and all ages, sharing their love of the music of these masters and the joy of singing choral music accompanied by professional orchestra members. Our concerts are filled with wonderful music that is enjoyed by our chorale members as well as our supportive and dedicated audience members.

This year, two of our major concerts will be held in the beautiful and historic church of St. Joseph in Jim Thorpe, our opening Christmas Concert and our Closing Spring Concert with Festival Orchestra. Their priest and members have been so accommodating and kind that the chorale members were glad to commit to this venue. Our home church of St. John’s Lutheran in the heights of Jim Thorpe will also serve as a wonderful concert venue for our Palm Sunday/Passion concert and additional Christmas concerts will be sung in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tannersville, PA as well as St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Trexlertown, PA.

I urge you to consult the “Concert Schedule” page on our website for dates, times, location and admission prices to all of our 39th season concerts. We would love to see you in our audience.
May God bless you and your families abundantly as you help to support and engage in our 39th year of making music for all to enjoy.

Ever grateful,

Randall Douglas Perry
Artistic Director, Founder and Conductor
