From the Artistic Director and Conductor – 2024 - 2025 Season
Dear Patrons and Donors,
It is with a great deal of pride that I welcome you to our 2024 – 2025 season of concerts; our 40th Year Anniversary!
40 years ago, I envisioned a chorale that would devote itself to the singing of choral works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Frideric Handel in the Carbon and Monroe counties, as well as other areas. With the help of our dedicated singers, our patrons and our donors, we were able to experience growth in our singing members as well as the ability to have our own Bach and Handel Festival Orchestra and we have been heard in Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and other areas of the world.
Within a few years, we became incorporated as a 501 C 3 non profit organization, with a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Board members. We have been able to secure small funding from the government, local grants and our donors.
This year, we will have our three annual Christmas Concerts, our Palm Sunday Concert and our 40th Anniversary Gala Concert with Festival Orchestra. Please consult the schedule of concerts that is listed on our website for locations, dates, times and admission costs to our concerts.
It is my sincere hope that you will take away a deeper sense of happiness, fulfillment and a deeper understanding of the music that we choose to perform. I hope to see you a one or all of our 40th year concerts.
